Z-Wave

Z-Wave is a wireless protocol used primarily for home automation and is managed by The Z-Wave Alliance. Operating on a low-frequency band, Z-Wave allows for a better device-to-device signal range, though it isn't the best when a large amount of data needs to be exchanged.
