Tallinn, Estonia – 1oT, a provider of telecom-independent cellular connectivity for the Internet of Things (IoT), announced that it will exhibit a comprehensive software solution, intended to catalyze MNOs/MVNOs’ IoT business with eSIM implementation, at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona. The package offered by 1oT has been designed with transparency, efficiency, and sustainability in mind – to make them the default infrastructure provider for forward-looking telecoms and other network operators.

This presentation marks 1oT's first public demonstration of their Remote SIM Provisioning (RSP) platform, 1oT eSIM Core. The infrastructure was built in-house to meet the GSMA’s eSIM specifications and provisioning requirements. The RSP gives customers a full overview and control of the SIM cards from downloading and enabling carrier profiles to disable or deleting them. 1oT is the first and the best use of the eSIM infrastructure as it is the base for the company’s products and services, thus the RSP offering comes with the best knowledge straight from the market.

Although the infrastructure is so new, 1oT eSIM Core has been recognized as the "M2M Innovative Solution of the Year" by the 7th annual IoT Breakthrough Awards.

The Connectivity Management Platform (CMP) 1oT Terminal is the other part of 1oT's comprehensive software package for enabling eSIM services for MNOs/MVNOs IoT customers. 1oT Terminal is a management platform for managing SIMs and eSIMs for telecommunications companies and their IoT customers. As with the RSP 1oT eSIM Core, 1oT Terminal is designed to provide global connectivity services tailored to the IoT industry from the ground up.

1oT Terminal boosts efficiency and cuts costs for telecom companies offering connectivity services to IoT businesses. It offers a comprehensive view of the company's clients and their subscriptions, operating as a self-service solution, taking away the strain from account managers and the support staff. Besides improved efficiency, it also enables further monetization of IoT customers due to its innovative App Store model.

Furthermore, 1oT Terminal eliminates the need for multiple billing platforms and systems. In addition to providing multiple, flexible billing options for their customers, the Terminal uses Revenue Assurance to ensure profitability for the company providing the connectivity service.

Because of its global connectivity business line, 1oT has a comprehensive understanding of IoT connectivity from infrastructure to devices, compared to other IoT connectivity infrastructure providers. It enables telecoms to better understand their IoT customers, modernize their connectivity offerings, and streamline customer support.

“We are pleased to showcase the Remote SIM Provisioning platform for the very first time. We will be demonstrating different key capabilities and features, such as eSIM management and transactions, and carrier profile storage. In combination with the self-service connectivity management portal 1oT Terminal, the MNOs/MVNOs will have all the tools they need to offer the best eSIM connectivity on the market for their IoT business line customers,” stated 1oT’s co-founder and CEO Märt Kroodo.
