AP Actility Accelerates IoT Projects in Germany Through a Distribution Alliance With m2m Germany
ActilityActility
m2m Germany, a specialist for state-of-the-art wireless communication technologies, has been a distribution partner of Actility since the beginning of the year.
In this context, m2m Germany does not act as a network operator, but as a technology and hardware supplier and an enabler for IoT business models. m2m Germany has profiled itself as a technology specialist that operates horizontally across all industries. Through cooperation with Actility, the company is further expanding its expert position in the German market for LoRa/LoRaWAN®.
With its products and engineering services, m2m Germany addresses a wide range of B2B industries and is focused on cooperations with cross-sector system integrators.
Actility is the leading global provider of LoRaWAN® connectivity solutions for the Internet of Things. With the ThingPark LPWA platform, developed by Actility, m2m Germany is able to offer its customers a complete solution for LoRa® based on IoT applications, meeting the highest security standards. The platform can be used to manage a wide variety of LoRa® devices/sensors, as there is no manufacturer lock-in, only the gateway has to be certified by Actility so that all data can be transmitted via IPsec. The server can be established at the customer’s site or run via the Actility structure.
This enables m2m Germany to be regarded as a “one-stop-shop provider” for LPWA applications. All components, technologies, and software solutions for IoT “sensor-to-cloud” applications can be offered and implemented from a single source. A benefit that can be attributed to the cooperation with Actility.
Current projects:
Talks are underway with a large municipal utility, a system integrator for automotive, and a large system integrator for dashboard and platform solutions, which are all strongly interested in Actility’s solutions.
“We are delighted to have a new partner like m2m Germany, which opens so many new possibilities in such a growing market as the Geman one. Together we will unite our expertise and work to offer the perfect IoT solution to each of our customers.”
