IoT Cloud Communication Pioneer EMnify Appoints Silicon Valley Technology Executive as COO Amidst New Growth Phase for the Company

• Berlin-headquartered EMnify enters new chapter in growth journey with appointment of first Chief Operating Officer (COO) in company’s history
   
• Christian Rodatus, seasoned deep-tech industry veteran, joins EMnify from a San Francisco-based big data and cloud analytics company  

Berlin, May 26, 2021 – EMnify, leading cloud communication platform provider for the Internet of Things (IoT), today announced the appointment of Christian Rodatus to Chief Operating Officer (COO). Rodatus brings with him over 25 years of go-to-market, innovation and general management experience in the technology sector and spent the past 12 years in the Bay Area working as an executive in mega cap and later stage VC funded start-ups. 

Rodatus is the first COO in EMnify’s history. The appointment comes as the company enters a new chapter in its growth journey to date – serving new customer segments, delivering services in new geographic regions and recently rolling out several key product enhancements. Capitalizing on EMnify’s best of breed technology stack and great market momentum, with the company’s ambitious business goals in focus, Rodatus will help build a scalable go-to-market strategy and organization for accelerated growth. This will include geographic expansion, partnerships and the development of new market segments. 

Rodatus brings a wealth of experience in innovation, growth management and business transformation. He has worked with and enjoyed the support of world-class investors like KleinerPerkins, Redpoint Ventures, Nextworld Capital, STT and Citi Ventures.

Prior to joining Datameer, where he spent four years as CEO, Rodatus held multiple EVP, SVP and General Manager roles at Bay Area based companies, including SAP AG and Enlighted Inc, a pioneer in commercial real estate IoT solutions. Originally from Munich, he graduated from the University of Applied Sciences in Munich with a diploma in Industrial Engineering.
