Warminster, PA (July 19, 2021) CalChip Connect (CCC) president TJ Rancour was among the featured panel speakers at the EDGE conference this week in Las Vegas that focused on “Cryptocurrencies & The Future of Money.” His counterpart was CEO Pat Larsen of crypto tax firm Zenledger.
Rancour explained how CalChip Connect is working to expand LongFi™ technology, which combines IoT (Internet of Things) in the form of LoRaWAN® wireless protocol with the Helium Blockchain. CalChip Connect is working with RAKwireless, Kerlink, and other LoRaWAN® gateway manufacturers to bring customers third-party gateway solutions that are powered by blockchain and that mine for cryptocurrency. These solutions are affordable, reliable, secure, and act as a Hotspot, router, and miner all in one package. “These partnerships have allowed us to be part of a collaboration that offers anyone the ability to own and operate a wireless network for IoT devices,” said Rancour. These IoT gateways enable cryptocurrency mining while supporting unique peer-to-peer wireless IoT networks based on the LoRaWAN® protocol.
