With this senior strategy, Michael Cihra and Larry Socher strengthen Eseye’s global channel and solutions propositions to meet increasingly complex and diverse enterprise IoT requirements
Guildford, UK: Eseye, a pioneer of leading-edge IoT connectivity solutions, today announced the appointment of two senior North America-based executives to position the company for continued global growth. Michael Cihra joins Eseye as Senior Vice President, Alliances and Partners, alongside Eseye’s new Vice President Strategy & Solutions, Larry Socher.
Eseye has witnessed increasing demand from enterprises that need to reduce the complexity of global IoT deployments, which has been a key barrier to large-scale project rollouts, especially in North America.
Both Michael and Larry will focus primarily on working closely with Eseye’s impressive roster of mobile network operators (MNOs) and growing ecosystem of global system integrators and technology partners, to accelerate the introduction of holistic IoT connectivity solutions for enterprises spearheading IoT market innovation. Eseye’s enviable client list includes several conglomerates in the Global Fortune 500 top ten that demand a high quality of service for IoT connectivity and rely on Eseye’s team of experts to guide their worldwide IoT deployments to achieve success, both today and in the future.
Larry brings over 30 years of industry experience to Eseye, including 26 years at Accenture, where he has served as Global Managing Director for the Service Provider and Enterprise Network practices and Accenture Cisco Business Group, and more recently as the global lead of Accenture’s Cloud, Infrastructure and Edge solutions.
During his tenure at Accenture, Larry has continuously demonstrated his ability to scale global cloud, network, and infrastructure practices, whilst driving sales and revenue growth in service provider and enterprise markets. More recently, during the global COVID-19 pandemic, Larry was the lead architect for Accenture’s Federal Systems’ cloud, infrastructure, and IoT/Edge solutions, positioning him perfectly in this senior strategy to stimulate and drive Eseye’s growth in the global IoT market.
“Eseye’s upward trajectory in the last 12-18 months and its traction in the global IoT Enterprise market so far has been impressive; it’s definitely an exciting time to join Eseye,” comments Larry. “The long-term partnerships that the company has already cemented with some of the industry’s biggest names signals its growth aspirations. I’m looking forward to building upon Eseye’s unique capabilities in delivering new and innovative solutions for the North American market and beyond.”
Michael Cihra will lead Channel and Alliances development at Eseye, as it scales the business through new routes to market and develops a strategic partnership ecosystem. Michael will focus on the strategy of growing partner relationships, mainly throughout the Americas and emerging markets, in support of Eseye’s ambitious growth strategy.
Michael brings over 20 years of worldwide experience in IoT and mobility to this senior strategy, with US-based enterprise software startups, most recently leading TELUS’ and Telstra’s IoT operations in Canada and Australia, respectively. In that role he spearheaded the launch of TELUS Global Connect which - with Eseye’s AnyNet Connectivity Platform embedded - empowered the business to win high-value global connectivity contracts.
“It’s a fantastic time to join Eseye; the management team has an infectious focus on driving the business forward into new markets,” says Michael. “I look forward to playing a key part in that growth by developing existing and creating new partnerships. These partnerships are critical components in the connected ecosystem that ultimately becomes greater than the sum of its parts, enabling Eseye to ensure enterprises can rapidly realize true value from their IoT projects, with access to market-leading future-proofed IoT connectivity.”
Continuing Growing Global Momentum for Eseye
In the last 12 months, Eseye has experienced tremendous momentum, in response to the rapidly growing demand for enterprise-grade IoT solutions powered by ubiquitous global connectivity. With the Americas pivotal to achieving truly global deployments, Eseye has trebled its roster of senior, proven industry leaders in the region, all of whom are focused on providing best-in-class, reliable managed IoT services to support complex worldwide IoT deployments for global enterprises.
This senior strategy also includes Brian Casto, who joined as Senior Vice President of Eseye’s Global Professional Services. Brian was formally VP of Consulting, Deal, and Delivery Management at KORE Wireless, an IoT Connectivity Provider, where he successfully built and led a high-performing global IoT Professional Services function, significantly growing its brand profile internationally.
This newly launched capability layers an end-to-end managed consultancy on top of features such as IoT Advisory Services, Device Design Services, and Device Onboarding and Certification. These offerings guide customers through IoT’s complexity from ideation and proof of concept, through the design, development, and deployment of global IoT solutions at scale.
To further meet this enterprise demand, Eseye has prioritized partnerships throughout its entire ecosystem. This includes partnering with world-leading communications and information technology company TELUS, which is leveraging its AnyNet Connectivity Platform to power TELUS Global Connect.
Demonstrating its commitment to rapid innovation to keep pace with industry evolution, Eseye was the first connectivity provider to be able to localize under eUICC rules onto the Verizon network. This enables global IoT customers to utilize an eUICC compliant approach to ensure IoT devices stay connected in the United States. Addressing the critical aspect of security in any IoT device deployment, Eseye has also partnered with leading agentless IoT device visibility and security platform provider Armis. This enables organizations to deploy connected devices anywhere in the world with enterprise-class security and consistent, reliable cellular (4G/LTE/5G) connectivity.
“I join the entire Eseye team in extending a warm welcome to both Michael and Larry; they are key additions to the business as we look towards our next period of growth,” concludes Nick Earle, CEO at Eseye. “Larry’s proven track record as a technology evangelist and leader, in executing the vision, strategy, roadmap, and implementation for complex integrated solutions, alongside Eseye’s strategic partner ecosystem, will be instrumental in delivering successful global IoT projects for enterprises both today and in the future.”
Earle continues, “I also know from first-hand experience that Michael’s standing within the industry will serve Eseye’s existing and new partners well; they’ll be in capable hands as we place increasing emphasis on strengthening our partner ecosystem. The appointment of both Michael and Larry positions Eseye perfectly to achieve its growth aspirations in 2022 and beyond.”
