IoT News: Telit Launches Prepaid Connectivity Plans to Support Short Lifecycle Solutions

Today I had the opportunity to sit down with Sean Rudnick, the Director of Carrier and Deal Management at Telit, to discuss their new simple prepaid connectivity plans that they released back in October.Â
Telit, a global enabler of IoT has brought to market prepaid connectivity plans for their new mobile core network Telit NExT. The focus is to enable turnkey services to allow their customers access to 600+ 2G, 3G, and 4G networks in 190 countries. Telit has long offered postpaid plans, but these new prepaid plans help Telit better fit with short lifecycle solutions and situations where a simple one-time payment is better suited, as opposed to monthly invoicing that can oftentimes be complex.
Throughout our conversation (below), Sean provides insights into their mobile core network, why Telit’s cellular connectivity is ideal for short lifecycle solutions and circumstances where a simple one-time payment is favorable to complex monthly invoicing, and what makes their prepaid offering unique.
