Direct-Smarter Technology Launches All-In-Sensor and TC Radio Chip To Protect Smart Homes
IoT For AllIoT For All
After four years of the development phase, Direct-Smarter Technology has launched two novel technologies- All-In-Sensor and TC Radio Chip for smart homeowners across the world. This novel technology is the first of its kind to leverage IoT in the field of Smart Homes.
The startup aims to secure smart homes and their owners from various issues that were reported by homeowners since the advent of smart home technology, including breach of privacy, data security problems, inconvenience of access of home appliances by hackers, and so much more.
Currently, the data pertaining to smart home technologies are spread across multiple servers across the world, and hence, it is easy for hackers to access such information. The connection is also disabled if there are any problems with such external servers. Moreover, another downside of this system is that internet connectivity is required to leverage smart home technology. However, this latest innovation by Direct-Smarter Technology does not use a gateway, router, internet connection, or external server and hence is not prone to hacking.
While data and security are the key advantages of this scientific innovation, the team of developers also emphasizes several other advantages that this technology offers, including the fact that a new multiband module enables simultaneous use via NB-IoT, 4G LTE, 5G, and LTE-M networks.
All of this is accomplished with a seemingly straightforward method- transferring the server-based intelligence directly into the product of each electrical device. That is, foreign servers are no longer used to store private or sensitive information of smart homeowners, and this does not affect the functioning of the system in any manner. Every appliance or device under this system is equipped with its own CPU that stores all of its data. Consequently, the internet is not required to operate these devices, and hackers cannot gain access to the data stored in smart home systems.
Any form of communication and exchange of signals occurs between a smartphone or a tablet, which acts as a control element, and this newly developed technology.
“Our innovation is ground-breaking in the field of digitalization and the development of products. Solutions that were previously unthinkable are now possible and offer the user a whole new world in terms of data protection, simplicity, practical applications, and lower prices,” said Klaus Gehrmann, Engineering Manager.
With the new TC radio chip, consumers can use their smartphones to control all of their appliances. Moreover, the startup also developed a multi-tool made up of all of the sensors that are commonly available in the market in a single small wireless transmitter that has been named the All-In-Sensor (AIS). Consequently, smart homeowners can now control the light, thermostat, camera, air conditioner, and other devices, either using their smartphone, thanks to the TC radio chip, or with the All-In-Sensor. They can also use each electrical device to engage in interactions with other devices.
The aforementioned security components and monitoring measures are currently retailed at $198. Moreover, the startup also sells Smart Home sockets, switches, security cameras, or LED lamps (B2C) as accessories to ensure that the All-In-Sensor is equipped to control electrical devices such as lights, shutters, heating, and more.
In the case of a B2B sale, the TC radio chip is supplied as a built-in radio module. For manufacturers of electrical devices and machines, any of their devices can be converted into a smart device by installing the thumbnail size small board that Direct-Smarter Technology offers. Instantly, such devices can be controlled by smartphones, laptops, and PCs.
Finally, this new secure smart home system can be used anywhere in the world as it is not bound by internet connectivity. The company delivers it in a ready for use condition.
The team of individuals in this startup aspire to win back the trust of homeowners and businesses who had a bad experience with traditional smart home and security products with this disruptive AIS technology, and they aim to become the go-to alternative to traditional smart home and security systems.
