IoT enables drones to gather and utilize real-time data to make and execute decisions, even in critical environments - like a search and rescue mission. By communicating with other devices on the network, drones can gather information on their environments, existing needs, and their performance enabling drones to, for example, water only the dryer parts of a field or automatically respond to a dispatch.
