ESG stands for Environmental, Social, and Governance. These three factors are used to evaluate a company's impact. Environmental factors include carbon footprints and use of renewable energy. Social factors include labor practices, human rights, and community involvement. Governance factors evaluate a company's leadership, management, and overall structure.
