The LoRa Alliance Smart Water & Energy Working Group invites you to an exclusive webinar on OMS over LoRaWAN, taking place on April 22nd at 3 PM CET.
This session will explore how OMS (Open Metering System), the widely adopted standard for multi-utility metering, can be seamlessly integrated with LoRaWAN to enable cost-efficient, long-range, and interoperable smart metering solutions.
This webinar is designed for utilities, metering professionals, and IoT innovators looking to implement OMS-based smart metering with the flexibility of LoRaWAN. Join us to discover the future of smart metering with OMS over LoRaWAN!

Olivier is a recognized telecom and technology expert, he wrote several books on networking technology, VoIP, M2M, Internet of Things(IoT) and the Smart Grid, and authored 6 international patents. In 1998, Olivier founded NetCentrex, a leading provider of VoIP infrastructure, then became CTO of Comverse group after its acquisition of NetCentrex. Olivier founded Actility in 2010. Olivier graduated from Ecole Polytechnique and Telecom Paris. He received the Blondel scientific medal from Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Information Technology and Communication Association (SEE) in 2012, and was made a Knight of the French Order “Legion of Honor” in 2018.
With a small team of experienced colleagues I founded DeviceLab ApS in 2019, dedicated to solve the time consuming task of decrypting and decoding the raw telegrams transmitted by wM-bus and OMS compliant meters and sensors. We are offering server and desktop software for device payload extraction, allowing you to assign your R&D resources to features more urgently requested by your customers.

The LoRa Alliance is an open, non-profit association of members that believes the Internet of Things era is now. It was initiated by industry leaders with a mission to standardize Low Power Wide Area Networks (LPWAN) being deployed around the world to enable Internet of Things (IoT), machine-to-machine (M2M), smart cities, and industrial applications. The Alliance members collaborate to drive the global success of the LoRa protocol (LoRaWAN) by sharing knowledge and experience to guarantee interoperability between operators in one open global standard.
